This year at the Flower Trials, Danziger’s creative breeding efforts were demonstrated in the ~ 400 varieties from 30 different crops.This year’s display had two new points of interests.

One was the Mixis™, a new niche (combinations) that Danziger has entered. The show included an outdoor and indoor display of a number of mesmerizing combinations of Bacopa Scopia ®, Calibrachoa Noa™ and Verbena Veralena.

Another point of interest was the display of our novelty crops in the perennial category such as the Heuchera Kira™, Lamium Lami™ together with new gardening crops such as the Cuphea Cupid™ and Asteriscus Teris™. Additionally to the annual novelty varieties two varieties of the Euphorbia Diwali™ were showcased and drew quite a lot of the visitors’ attention.

Another interesting thing that occurred at the Danziger site was participation of the visitors, asking them to share their opinion on the varieties. They were requested to choose the varieties they liked most, and each of the visitors who participated in this project were handed 10 medals to be placed on the varieties they selected. These selections gave an interesting angle on the range of choices made.

In conclusion, the display was a spectacular celebration of Danziger’s breeding power, the vast range of varieties of the different crops together with the new product, Mixis™ ensure that Danziger will continue providing high standards of diversity products for the upcoming seasons.
